Two types of water use recording equipment, having the capability of unattended operation and compatibility with automatic data‐processing equipment, are discussed in this article. The first system is designed for the monitoring of the more complex multiple supply point system of the larger customer. The second system is designed for the monitoring of a single, or, possibly, dual supply point system. The second system does not require an external power source, thus allowing for more mobility.
