This article presents the statistical compilation of the activities of the water department of the city of Burley, Idaho, as recorded in 1962. This report divides the main duties of the department into thirteen categories of work. The man‐hours spent in 1962 in seven of these categories and the production achieved are provided. For the remaining six categories, only the man‐hours have been recorded. The nature of the work associated with those categories that need explanation are discussed in the article.
