This article discusses water and sewer bond sales trends and figures from 1957‐1961. There are no readily available figures to show the level of sales of water and sewer bonds before July 1956, but municipalities have conventionally relied on the sale of bonds to finance the major portion of water and sewerage facility construction in recent years. This article presents some of the salient points from the data that became available beginning with the full year 1957.
