A training course in water distribution has been prepared under the supervision of AWWA Committee 4620 M‐Education. The document is being published in installments (April 1961 issue, p. 458; June 1961 issue, p. 790). This article presents Chapter 4, Distribution Storage, and covers the following topics: functions of distribution storage; location, capacity, and elevation; hydraulics of distribution storage; distribution storage facilities; and, storage and booster pumping.
