This article discusses recent updates made by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to tools and initiatives for improving the water industry's preparedness and resiliency, which include: intrastate mutual aid and assistance networks; tabletop exercises for emergency response plans and procedures; tips for utilities to maximize reimbursement for emergency supplies and work; support for financing incident recovery; and, community‐based water resiliency.
