This article discusses the world's largest fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) pipeline structural rehabilitation job ever performed in a single phase, a low‐pressure pipeline at the El Encanto Hydroelectric Power Plant, which is located 75 miles northwest of San Jose, Costa Rica. The project included the installation of about 150,000 ft 2 of FRP lining.
