This article discusses several warning signs to help utility workers recognize and identify a meth lab when out in the field. The problem is particularly pronounced in rural areas and many utilities are working with law enforcement officials to educate water operators on how to recognize meth labs. The article discusses meth home production and the dangers they present. Common signs of meth lab activity are listed, along with steps to follow when you suspect you have come across a meth lab.
