This article discusses optimized corrosion control treatment and how to understand lead and copper data. The article discusses three case studies that demonstrate the usefulness of using frequency of distributions, along with the 50th and 90th percentiles to make a more detailed evaluation of lead and copper data. For this evaluation, the authors selected seven frequency‐of‐distribution categories for lead and five categories for copper as detailed in the tables that are given in the article.
