Water storage facilities have become a popular location for the installation of antennas and associated ground equipment. This option has helped to limit construction of stand‐alone towers and the continual battle over antenna sites. However, water tanks are not designed for the routing of cables and attachment of antennas. This article details the issues that municipalities should consider when determining antenna placement on water storage tanks.
