This article discusses chemicals that we encounter everyday, which under certain circumstances can cause severe harm or death. Many chemicals are extremely toxic, and even small quantities can be lethal. Three ways that chemicals can enter the body (inhalation, ingestion, and absorption) are discussed in detail, and general tips are given for precautions and safety measures to follow when using these chemicals whether at home or at work.
