Because of increasing regulatory requirements on discharged water, which requires dechlorination, the Southern California Water Co., Southwest System has experimented with different dechlorination devices through the years. This article describes a new device that shows promising results in reducing the time needed to flush and the labor required for setting up the dechlorination equipment.
