In past years, the biannual change of water pump motor oil required the labor and time of two or three workers. One worker would hold a 5 gallon drain bucket, a second worker loosened and removed the oil drain plug, and a third worker cleaned up the mess. To improve this messy, time‐consuming process, employees from the City of Mesquite Water Production Department developed a simple, inexpensive solution that saves time and money. A list of materials and costs is included.
