Pump failure, loss of capacity because of internal check valve problems, internal relief valve malfunctions, leaking oil, air in the hydraulic system, drive motor and electrical control failures–these were just some of the problems we experienced with our old system of metering pumps. This article describes a new, more reliable feed system, which is now in place at several of our plants.
