This article exhorts waterworks employees to “take safety home” and be cautious off‐the‐job. The author cautions employees be sure power tools are grounded, check home wiring to be sure it is sufficient for the load, adhere to the electric code when installing wiring in the home, avoid accumulating combustible materials, and avoid storing things on or near water heaters or furnaces.
