Payment drop boxes, as a rule, have little character. They're patient, but not personable. The Department of Utilities in Norfolk, Virginia, recently installed a drop box with a sense of humor, one that customers often step back from and smile at‐it's a bright red fire hydrant. Construction and materials for the drop box are discussed in the article.
