This article emphasizes the importance of water meter testing as a tool for enhancing revenues, lowering meter replacement costs, and improving customer relations. Testing meters ensures accuracy, which in turn ensures that water being delivered is paid for, that the costs of water service is spread equally among all users, and that water conservation is promoted.
