For safety reasons it is often important to attach a flasher light onto a barricade. However, utilities often lose flasher lights due to theft. To insure that such lights are not stolen, the author developed a locking device which secures the light to the barricade. The locking device consists of a bolt that extends through both the barricade and the flasher light. The lock is secured with a company lock, which can only be unlocked by department employees.
