This month's “Gimmicks and Gadgets” describes the usefulness of installing tool bins on utility truck beds for storage of materials, thus allowing the truck to dump loads without needing to remove tools and personal items from the truck bed. A long bin extending the width of the truck bed and installed just behind the cab can hold shovels, picks, and similar equipment. Side bins extending the length of the truck bed can hold smaller tools and personal items.
