Difficulties with water well systems may be eliminated with proper planning. Well location, drainage considerations, placement in relation to sewage sites, types of aquifers, elimination of pressure problems by proper storage space, use of test wells, and adherence to regulations for construction and disinfection will help assure a proper water well system. Bacteriological problems and corrosion control are also covered.
