Some chemical companies offer a substantial discount if your order totals enough chemicals to make a truckload. When buying from companies supplying more than one chemical, the procedure described allows you to determine how much of each chemical to order so that: the total order will equal a truckload; the various chemicals ordered will all be depleted again at the same time; allowing you to buy chemicals at the rate you use them. The calculations also tell how many days the order can be expected to last.
