After encountering some problems while doing water quality tests, employees of the water facility at Chenango, New York came up with an idea that is found in this month's “Gimmicks and Gadgets.” They installed a simple wy‐gauge metal sink and an inexpensive lavatory bibb to make tests of raw water, chlorinated water, filtered water, and softened water, without flooding the basement of the station.
