The floral morphology and pollination of Habenaria obtusata (Orchidaceae) are described. Habenaria obtusata occurs in Alaska, Canada, Norway, Siberia, etc., in great numbers and is pollinated by mosquitoes of the genus Aedes . The pollination process is described as observed in glass cages.
