In May 1985, Brian Cade attended the 10th Anniversary Congress of the Family Therapy Department of the University of Heidelberg. The Congress attracted a huge audience and was a fitting tribute to a decade of creative research and development. At the end of the Congress, Brian was able to persuade a very tired Helm Stierlin, the Department's director, to give the following interview.
