English translation, especially simultaneous interpretation is a typical online streaming which is essential for cross‐nation meeting. However, traditional simultaneous interpretation falls short of localization and scalability. IP‐based Internet only has best‐effort transmission which cannot meet the strict requirements of simultaneous interpretation. In this paper, we leverage in‐network caching to reduce the cross‐domain latency and SDN to synchronize cache transmission. We adopt Lyapunov optimization to stabilize streaming data. Experiment results show that our proposal can significantly improve the performance of cross‐domain English simultaneous interpretation in terms of delay and streaming quality.
