The Rotifers of two planktonic‐series during a year out of the Kainji‐Lake in the African state Nigeria are identified. They have a similarity to those of the European warm pools (Tümpel, Altwässer). Two new varieties are described: Asplanchna brightwelli var. and Euchlanis myersi cristata .
