This cover image represents schematically the concept of aggregation‐induced emission. The kingfisher acts here as classical AIE emitter entrapped in a sterically demanding environment which leads to a restriction of intramolecular rotation. This fixation enables the corresponding luminophore to convert absorbed photons into emission and not, as in the dissolved state, into molecular motion.
