This review discusses the latest developments in ligand design for the Pd‐catalyzed asymmetric intermolecular Mizoroki‐Heck reaction, from the successful phosphine/phosphinite‐nitrogen ligands to the recently reported phosphite‐nitrogen ligands. The presence of a biaryl phosphite group offers several advantages as a ligand scaffold for this process.
