The crystal structure and electrical conductivity of the polymerized dimer of 1,11‐dodecadiyne has been recently reported. In this article we will present the temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity of this conducting polymer in the undoped state and will probe the structure‐conductivity relationship via a band theoretical approach.
