The oxidative behavior of rhodium(I) isocyanides and dimers bridged by diisocyanides and diphosphines, which leads to the formation of rhodium—rhodium bonded complexes in the +2, +5\3, +3\2 oxidation states, is reviewed. The results of an X‐ray crystallographic investigation of a new, related compound, [Rh 3 ((Ph 2 PCH 2 ) 2 ‐PPh) 2 (CO)I 4 ] [BPh 4 ] · 0.77 C 3 H 6 O, are described.
