Kinetic and product studies of liquid phase autoxidations in the presence of high concentrations of alkyl hydroperoxides have enabled absolute propagation and termination rate constants for alkylperoxyls to be measured. A large number of rate constants and activation parameters have been accumulated over the past few years by this technique and the highlights of this work are presented in this review.
