In a previous paper the principle of nephelometric measurement using a spectrofluorometer was described. The method has now been extended and applied for the microdetermination of: (1) Chloride in acid and salt solutions, in clays after acid decomposition, in organic solvents containing hydrocarbons and amines and organic chlorides after combustion; (2) Potassium in acid and salt solutions; (3) Barium in acid and salt solutions; and (4) Sulphate in organic solvents containing hydrocarbons and amines. The method is simple and highly sensitive.
