Synthesis is described of an eicosapeptide which corresponds to positions 85‐104 of the primary structure of horse heart Cytochrome C. The synthesis of the peptide L‐isoleucyl‐L‐lysyl‐L‐lysyl‐L‐lysyl‐L‐threonyl‐L‐glutamyl‐L‐arginyl‐L‐glutamyl‐L‐aspartyl‐L‐leucyl‐L‐isoleucyl‐L‐alanyl‐L‐tyrosyl‐L‐leucyl‐L‐lysyl‐L‐lysyl‐L‐alanyl‐L‐threonyl‐L‐asparaginyl‐L‐glutamic acid is described.
