Synthesis is described of a series of peptide derivatives which corresponds to positions 50–56 in the primary structure of horse heart Cytochrome C. The preparation of the protected heptapeptide: t‐butyl t‐butyloxycarbonyl‐β‐benzyl‐L‐aspartyl‐L‐analyl‐L‐asparaginyl‐ϵ‐trifluoroacetyl‐L‐lysyl‐L‐asparaginyl‐ϵ‐trifluoroacetyl‐L‐lysylglycinate is described.
