1‐Phenyl substituted cyclobutyl‐, cyclopentyl‐, and cyclohexylamines were obtained in the Hofmann reaction of 1‐phenylcycloalkanecarboxamides. 1‐Phenylcyclohexylamine was also prepared by the Ritter reaction of 1‐phenylcyclohexanol.
