The Committee on Controlled Therapeutic Trials (Commission of Clinical Oncology, International Union Against Cancer) has decided to establish an information office. The office collects the basic information on controlled clinical trials, planned or in progress, and distributes the filed information in order to assist investigators in the field. Information is made available either by direct request from the Secretary of the Committee or by periodically published lists. The first list of trials reported to the Office is presented.
