Abstract There has been one case reported in the literature (Medline search December 1994) of a serotonin selective re‐uptake inhibitor (SSRI), fluoxetine, being associated with the development of classic migrainous symptoms (Larson, 1993). We now report a case of severe exacerbation of migraine with another SSRI, paroxetine.
