After degradation of the Ni 2+ complex of val 5 ‐angiotensin II‐asp 1 ‐β‐amid by H 2 O 2 the peptide fragments were separated by high voltage electrophoresis and by ion exchange. The fragments were hydrolyzed and the amino acids determined by the method of Stein & Moore.
