Aneurine‐ 35 S of high specific activity has been prepared following an industrial procedure based on the synthesis of Todd & Bergel . Starting from 3,0 mmoles of H 2 35 S of the specific activity 40,3 mc/mmole, 216 mg of aneurine chloride hydrochloride monohydrate corresponding to a chemical yield of 40,5% based on H 2 35 S has been obtained. It was pure as shown by paper chromatography and had a calculated specific activity of 110 μc/mg or 39,1 mc/mmole immediately after synthesis.
