We report the synthesis of pyrene‐ and carboxyfluorescein labeled C α ‐tetrasubstituted amino acids (TAAs). The fluorescent dye can be coupled to the TAA before or after its incorporation into a peptide sequence using a Suzuki ‐type CC bond formation.
