A new abscisic acid derivative, named litseaglutinan A ( 1 ), and a new arylnaphthalene‐type lignan, (7′ S ,8 R ,8′ S )‐4,4′,9‐trihydroxy‐3,3′,5‐trimethoxy‐9′‐ O ‐ β ‐ D ‐xylopyranosyl‐2,7′‐cyclolignan ( 2 ), were isolated from the AcOEt extract of Litsea glutinosa , together with nine known lignans. Their structures were established by spectroscopic methods.
