AbstractTwo novel quinoline alkaloid β ‐ D ‐mannopyranosides, named dictamnine‐7‐ β ‐ D ‐mannopyranoside ( 1 ) and 8‐methoxydictamnine‐7‐ β ‐ D ‐mannopyranoside ( 2 ), were isolated from the whole plant of Solidago canadensis. Their structures were identified on the basis of a spectroscopic analysis.
