Three new polybrominated 1 H ‐indoles, compounds 1 – 3 , and three new aristolane sesquiterpenes, compounds 4 – 6 , were isolated from the marine red alga Laurencia similis , together with seven known natural products. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of detailed spectroscopic and mass‐spectrometric analyses, as well as by comparison with literature data.
