Abstract Six novel 5 α ‐adynerin‐type cardenolides, funingenosides K ( 1 ), L ( 2 ), M ( 3 ), N ( 4 ), O ( 5 ), and P ( 6 ), have been isolated from the roots of Parepigynum funingense. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR techniques.
