An X‐ray diffraction analysis of the crystalline complex 2b (ML n TiCl 4 ) shows a chelation of the carbonyl O‐atom and the upper SO 2 O‐atom by TiCl 4 , a slightly pyramidal N‐atom, and a π ‐face‐stereoselective shielding of the C(α)‐ Si face by the CH 2 (3) group. The Ti‐atom is in a pseudo‐octahedral environment.
