Peptide synthesis: The following of the cleavage of benzyl protecting groups with 1 H‐NMR. spectroscopy . In spite of the great number of signals 1 H‐NMR. spectroscopy can be used to demonstrate the presence or absence of oxygen bound benzyl groups in protected viz. deprotected peptides.
