Homologs of 17‐hydroxy‐4,4‐17α‐trimethyl‐3‐oxo‐androst‐5‐ene‐2α‐carbonitrile ( 6d ), such as the 4,4‐diethyl‐( 6a ), 4,4‐cyclopentyl‐( 6c ) and 4,4‐cyclohexyl‐( 6b ) analogs were synthesized.
