The proton resonance spectra of nitroethylene, 1‐nitropropene‐(1), and 1‐nitropropene‐(2) have been measured in solution with high resolving power at 60 and 100 MHz. A full set of chemical shift and coupling constants, obtained from analysis of the spectra in terms of ABC , ABX 3 and ABCD 2 systems, respectively, is given.
