The following quaternary indole alkaloids have been isolated from the root bark of the Apocynaceae species Pleiocarpa tubicina Stapf: huntrabrine methochloride, kopsinic acid methochloride, N (a) ‐methyl‐sarpagine methochloride and macusine B chloride.
