The ESR. spectrum of the phenalenyl radical has been reexamined under increased resolution. The proton coupling constants ( a 1 = 6,29 and a 2 = 1,805 gauss) are in agreement with the values reported by B ENNETT [3]. Two 13 C coupling constants have been determined ( a C1 = 9,66 and a C2 ≈ a C10 = 7,84 gauss) and their assignment has been discussed.
