It is shown that during the autoxidation of a dihydropyrazine, formed by intramolecular cyclisation of the α‐acylaminoketone RCH(COR′)NHCOCH(R)NH 2 (R′ = (CH 3 ) 2 CHCH 2 –, R = CH 3 CH 2 –), evolution of H 2 O 2 is strongly catalysed by Mn diphosphate complexes.
